Initially, we were both a little unsure whether we wanted to have a legal ceremony or a celebrant.
In the end we’re so glad we went with Julia. We had been nervous because our ceremony was such a mix of cultures and religious backgrounds that there were various delicate sensitivities.
We were recommended to Julia via a wedding planner and from the very first meeting it was clear Julia was capable of handling such a sensitive situation. Her warm and kind manner meant that instantly we felt at ease

Honestly there was not a dry eye in the house, us included. It made us cry, laugh and it really felt beautiful.
On the day there were so many logistical difficulties which meant the whole ceremony was delayed by over an hour, but Julia was so incredibly professional, she managed the whole situation; she got everyone into places ready for the right moment, she helped coordinate and then she delivered a stunning ceremony.
Honestly, we could not recommend her more.
What can I say! You were just phenomenal on the morning of our wedding. You made me feel so calm when you walked into the bridal suite where I was getting ready. I had absolute faith that you had everything under control.
You captured our relationship perfectly and understood exactly what we wanted from our ceremony. You made us feel safe and cared for throughout the ceremony (even taking my used tissue). We’ve had so many compliments on how special and personal our ceremony was.
Looking back, we wouldn’t change a single thing. We knew you were the right person from the very beginning and I am so thankful for all the care and effort you have put into our wedding.
We couldn’t ask for a better celebrant. You truly are an amazing and talented woman with the voice of an angel.

Right from the start, Julia was professional and helpful. Not to mention that we contacted her less than a month before the wedding. In about a week we met, and one of the most significant parts of our wedding was created. Thanks to Julia.
It was her encouragement that made us brave during the preparation process. Julia gave us the confidence to speak from our hearts. Additionally, she suggested rituals, such as breaking bread and drinking wine at the end, that made our ceremony even more special.
On the wedding day she was very calm. As my make-up was being done, she came to say hello and let me know everything was going well. The ceremony was smooth and Julia managed the crowd well, so no one got bored. Many people commented afterwards that it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever attended. There was humor, intimacy, and engagement in it.
Overall, our experience with celebrant Julia has been outstanding. I highly recommend her to anyone.

From the moment we met her we knew she was the only person we wanted to do our ceremony. She has a calming nature and made us feel so relaxed. Julia spent the time getting to know us and listened to our love story taking in every detail.

We were looking for a celebrant to tell our unique story during a ceremony and she did the most amazing job! We would not have changed anything about it, it was absolutely perfect and Julia did such a good job delivering the ceremony to all our friends and family.
She made the process from start to finish so enjoyable and really helped get us through the whole process.
We were able to meet up in person before the ceremony to get to know each other which was great for the whole process. I really appreciate the effort Julia put in to meet with us (driving several hours to make it happen).
On the day she arrived early to check in on all of us and settle us before the ceremony. She was great at reading the room and able to get a great response and deliver the ceremony perfectly.
She wrote the most amazing ceremony script that perfectly matched our story and was able to put it in the right tone for what we were looking for.
After the ceremony was finished we got many many compliments from our guests, saying Julia did such a great job!!

I’m finding it very hard to find the words to express our thanks and gratitude to you! Thank you so so much for making our ceremony absolutely perfect!
We first saw you in 2019, your beautiful kind smiley face, we felt your warmth and all round loveliness and always remembered you.
When Covid hit and we postponed, we decided to change our plans and this is when we remembered that lovely lady from the wedding fayre back in 2019 and found you again. In a funny and bizarre way, I’m kind of glad Covid ‘got in the way’ because it made us realise what we truly wanted!
From the start, you have been nothing but kind, patient and embracing. When talking to you, we know that you truly listened to us, our stories, every small detail you heard and you included it. When we got the first draft, we laughed, we cried and we were in awe of how ‘perfectly us’ it was.
Before the ceremony, you came to see me and ask how I was, you didn’t need to do that, but you did and this confirmed my first impression of how lovely you truly are!
When it come to our ceremony, it was like standing in front of a close friend, you put us at ease, there were no nerves. And just like the first draft, the actual ceremony made us laugh, made us well up, made us feel the love and gave us the feeling we wouldn’t have got if it wasn’t for you!
After all the craziness of the wedding day, We looked in the bag that was passed to me from you.. and the tears started again! Our Certificate takes pride of place in our lounge next to our handfasting cord and our beautifully presented ‘script’ of our ceremony.
Our bauble is the front of our tree! And now every year we get it out, we will think of ‘That lovely kind lady with the beautiful smile who gave us the perfect ceremony’
So for now our journey has ended, but I hope our paths will cross again!

Julia was our celebrant for our recent marriage held in the Slaughter’s Country Inn in the Cotswolds.

“We asked Julia to be our celebrant for our wedding celebration and from the very start, and throughout she provided an excellent, efficient and very friendly experience.
We felt totally at ease! Having planned for our official wedding ceremony to be held a couple of days prior to our celebration with just us and 3 other guests, we decided we would keep the news a secret from our family and friends until a couple of days later when we could celebrate with everyone by revealing the surprise – so this was an unusual concept of a ‘ceremony’.
